After spending a good chunk of the day trying to come up with something interesting to say here, I thought that I should just bite the bullet and start writing. I am on Twitter, and one of the hashtags I really love is #FridayReads. People from all over the place post about the books or magazines they are reading and their (very brief) thoughts about them. Today’s reads are as varied as always, from frothy horror/romances to parenting books to the Classics. It’s an interesting look at what people are reading and it’s heartening to see that there are so many people reading. Stephen King says in On Writing (one of the best books I’ve read about the process of writing) that in order to be a writer, you need to read.
